Members of each Leadership Grand Rapids class work on Community Trustee Projects (CTP) to better understand their role as community trustees while helping area non-profits.
These projects are a great opportunity to make sustainable improvements to your non-profit organization or one with which you volunteer. Ideal projects offer an opportunity for the group to provide a lasting impact on the organization and generally include efforts around strategic planning and growth that are not narrow in focus.
Community Trustee Projects offer a unique way to involve current and emerging leaders in Grand Rapids with projects critical to local non-profit organizations. Their talents, skills and professional experience can be of immense benefit to the non-profits they partner with. And, it offers the participants a chance to gain a greater understanding and appreciation for community involvement.
